Checking us.....

When does the dr start to check to see if you are effacing or if we are dialating??? I had my Strep B testing last wk but no checking me. I so what to know if I am progressing at all especially with the babys head being down sooooooooo low.

Not all Dr.s do cervical checks.

Checking for dilation and effacement before you are in actve later isn't a good indicator of when you will go into labor so not all practitioners do them.
