Cute kitty story
Izzy and Bella like to get into mommy's nightstand drawer. There I keep my makeup remover puffs and other cosmetic type things. They chew on the puffs and manage to get in there when the drawer is open (my bad)
Last night Bella grabed the package of puffs and dragged it downstairs. I went up to bed and brought it up. Bella was there hanging out in the drawer. The drawer is pretty stuffed but she was in there. I picked her up and pulled her out. Then went to close the drawer. It wouldn't close. Something was preventing it from closing.
Izzy was in the back of the drawer! I couldn't get him out and he thought it was a game! Finally he crawled out but i was freaking out that I tried to close the drawer on him.
Crazy kittens. They get into everything and come out just fine.

Re: Cute kitty story
The cat we had when I was a teenager would do that kind of stuff all the time. Her favorite hiding space was in the flap of fabric under the recliners in the couch. Once we closed her in there and didn't know it until we sat down, and felt a head pushing up at us from under the cushion.

Re: Cute kitty story
Maggie did that one day
except I can't open the bottom draw on my dresser- it's broken
so she fell into it
I heard her crying to get out after 20 minutes
I got her out- and found that I had stored clothes in there- and it was all stuff I was looking for!

Ramsey used to do that when he was tiny. Except we would close the drawer and then wonder where the meowing was coming from!!

that happened with Bells..she was in the bathroom and we keep the door closed upstairs. She has the tiniest little meow and I thought I heard something.
They are nuts though. Kittens are on crack.

Re: Cute kitty story
OMG, great story.
My cats are insane as well...
My one cat, his favorite thing to do is to lift up my heating vents in the floor and walk through the shafts and pop his head out another vent.
The first time we figured this out was when my DH was in the bathroom and that cat must have got into the dining room vent and walked to the bathroom vent and SURPRISE! popped his head out of the vent, pushing it up. DH nearly fell off the bowl!

Re: Cute kitty story
They get into EVERYTHING, don't they?
DH used to have a recliner that only had a flap of fabric going over the back of the chair. My small(er) cat used to get into the flap, and hide out IN the recliner. I lived in fear of hearing some ear-shattering yowl every time DH reclined if he didn't bang on the back of the chair first.
