So..what's the deal with Winthrop hospital? I read online that they have a state of the art "new life center"..does that include new maternity rooms or are they just talking about labor and delivery rooms?
anyone know the story? thanks.

state of the art refers to their labor and delivery rooms. the maternity ward is in an older part of the building and is nothing to scream or write home about.. but in all honesty, you won't notice.. it is clean, neat, and bright, but nothing extraordinarily modern.. like a normal hospital i guess.. but again the only thing you will notice when you get up there is your baby..

its definately just the labor & delivery rooms. they are really nice. it almost reminded me of a hotel room or something. the other rooms are nice though also - they are very clean and look like an ordinary hospital room.

not that I care that much but maybe new rooms are on the way.

ITA. The maternity ward/rooms are older, but the nursery and rooms are very clean & are not falling apart or anything.
