Elimination Massage?

So, I was in Canada this past week and I got a prenatal massage. The technician was telling me about all the different types of massages you can get while prego-- and she mentioned the elimination massage.

I never heard of it-- and she told me it was to help err, eliminate waste since pregos get constipated. Now, while this sounds a little weird-- I am intrigued! Anything to help keep things moving.

Anyone hear of this-- or is this just canadian massage training?

She also mentioned these cool massages in the third tri which also massage the baby in the womb.

huh. well i don't have any "elimination" problems but as long as it didn't involve massaging my azz, i don't think i'd have a problem with it.

as for the third tri massage where they massage the baby in the womb, i can tell you that i had a massage at about 32, 33 weeks and the woman asked if she could massage my belly as well... i said yes of course, and she was so light, but it felt amazing. i would totally do it if i felt safe and comfortable and i knew they would be gentle.

As soon as I read your post I tried looking it up on Google but no luck finding someone who does that around here. I really need an "elimination" massage -- I haven't gone in days....

I know I have had belly massages with Castor Oil (used on the exterior, not ingested) to help digestive issues, but I also know that I am not allowed to have them with PG.
