Upset about a haircut I got yesterday....
I went to a new place by my house yesterday that I had never been to before. I got my hair colored, and then cut. I said I wanted to my hair shorter, but not too short- about 1.5-2 inches taken off.
I absolutely love the color. I thought the hair looked "good" when I was at the salon. She never showed me the back of my hair- so when I got home, I looked in the mirror- and I was horrified. Its like she didnt even cut the back at all. Its so long- and looks really out of proportion with the rest of the haircut.
I've never been this upset with a haircut I've gotten before.
Should I call the salon and tell them that I want it fixed? Or should I just let it go and go to another place to get it fixed?

I work in a very good salon in Hewlett. people that are unhappy go back all the time for a fix up. You definately should and dont feel bad about it one bit!!

truthfullly i would not take the chance of going back there, but i would call to complain. definitely go back to your regular place, or find a good place that comes recommended.

I agree..Call and explain what you're upset with and then explain that you do not feel comfortable coming back. As a buisness they will not be happy but almost everybody has had a bad haircut and can relate to not wanting to come back. Unless the manager/owner cuts hair and offers to fix it for free personally I would go somewhere else fo the fix

I am definitely going to call and complain. Here's the thing- the woman who cut my hair WAS the owner!!!! I think I'm going to go to another place to have it fixed. Even DH says it doesn't look great in the back.

At least the problem is that it's too long in the back not to short...so good news is it's fixable!!!
