What does stress do to the baby?
My grandma was rushed to the hospital on Weds, and is now considered terminal This has been sooo hard on our family. We have been running back and forth to the hospital, and today she is being transferred to a Hospice Inn.
Anyway, since Weds, this baby has been moving like crazy. Strong movements, and very very often. Do you think my stress is getting to the baby, or that it is just a coincidence. I am trying to stay calm, but I am so emotionally and physically drained...

how far along are you? i know that after about 25, 26 weeks my LO didn't stop moving at all... only recently did he stop moving so much but that's probably because it's getting cramped in there.

I am 26 weeks...I am sure that is all it is....but of course, Im stressing that Im making the baby stress....

I know it's hard, and I honestly have no advice as to how to destress, but I just wanted to let you know that I know exactly how you feel as I lost my grandma 4 weeks ago and she was my absolute rock. If you need anything, just to be sad even, please FM me.

my last pregnancy i was always stressed. It does cause the baby to move around a lot more. The baby does sense stress but it wont hurt them. So dont worry too much. But try to keep your stress level to a minimum.

i am so sorry about your grandma, many prayers for her 
I just asked my Dr this bc I had a very stressful weekend myself. He said that adrenaline is not passed to the baby so stress will not have an impact on the baby at all.

that's totally understandable. it could be a combination of both, but i wouldn't worry. babies are SO tough

I am so sorry......
just try to focus on your baby and your family right now..... Unfortunately, many moms on this board experience horrible tragedies while pregnant, and all are still healthy thank God.
just keep that in the back of your mind and do your best to cope
