Had my 34 week and a bunch of other appts Tues (update)
We first saw our pediatriac cardiologist. While there doesn't seem to be any change in the tiny little left vent (as suspected), we did get some positive news.  Our doc is very happy with the amount of blood flow which is very important towards our babies condition. She is also happy with the pulmonary arteries which she says are good size. Best of alll, there is a slight, very slight, chance our baby may not even need the first shunt operation. This is HUUUGE!!!!!!! As I mentioned previously, there is a serious of three operations needed so if things look nice enough that we can forgo the first that is wonderful. There are no guarantees though, but we are hoping for the best.
We also took a tour of the NICU which wasn't exactly fun but I am a little more comfortable seeing the space I will be dealing with and I am happy with the environment there; they seem to take very good care of the babies and mommies.
Oh and we have an induction date set at September 8th!!!!!!! I hope this is a very good omen as I have had this particular date in mind for delivery for a while now.
Oh and if you could continue to send good vibes or prayers that is great. We really really appreciate them, I cannot say that enough.
I also know I have a few FM's that need answering. I promise to get back to everyone!!!!!!
