Do you think that...
peeshie pictures (my way of saying naked pics showing your son/daughter's private areas...like in the bath) are appropriate for others to see? I'm not talking about the grandparents here. My MIL ordered a gazilion pictures from shutterfly and wanted me to organize them in an album. She ordered two "peeshie" pictures. When I got to them, I omitted them from her album because I know that album is going to be handed around all over the place...friends, her side of the family, co-workers, etc...
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I really don't want strangers seeing the peeshie pics. Am I being a silly overprotective mother?

No, not silly at all. You can get the cute naked baby effect in a picture without actually showing private parts. It's just not necessary to show it all. I would do the same thing you did.
I do, however, think that bare baby booty pictures can be okay.

Bare booty=Cute...I agree.
My MIL specifically chose those two pics when I have cute pics of him in the tub minus the peeshie.

I agree... I'm all for cute naked butt pics, but that's it. When I posted some bath pics of Alex, I clipped out portions of some photos for that same reason.

I totally agree, I tried not to take many pictures with private parts in them and I do not display them to anyone. Often times I put a washcloth over her when taking a picture in the back. Although we do have a few cute tushy shots!

This started a big fight with my inlaws. My SIL had my nephew, at 3 days old, she was changing him and her grandmother(FIL's mother) snapped a pic without his diaper on. They get the role of film, and FIL shows the pics and emails them to us and other family members. I was surprised by the shot. Leo said a lot of his family in PR does that. Which is weird I thought thinking back, that I have a couple of naked pics of Leo and his brother. Some as infants, others in at like 3 years old.
Anyway, SIL's boyfriend(not spanish) flipped that his kid's naked picks are online.
Inlaw's thought baby's father was overreacting...I don't think it is appropriate at all.
