Any preeclampsic girls take Labetalol?
I wrote about my preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Now the doctor wants me to take Labetelol. Anyone take this? i trust my new doctor, but I do not like that this is a Category C medication. (I also don't like the idea of stroke from my PI-hypertension, either.)
TIA for any insight.

I have been on labetolol 2ooMG twice a day since before BFP I was hypertensive before doing IVF and they thought it would be a good idea to keep me on it My PMD, RE and OB all said it wasw safe and besides it is better than preeclampsia and I am 24 weeks on friday and the baby has been fine

I went on labetelol right after DS was born and have been on it ever since (through IVF...etc). I was told when I was trying to conceive that it was safe for the baby throughout the pregnancy and was the only thing recommended to keep BP down.
I'm at 19 wks. and so far so good!
