Hair Straightening
I want to get my hair straightened.
Anyone ever have the brazilian or the japanese methods?

I hear the brazilian is less chemicals but isn't permanent. It seems a little pricey considering it only last a few months but I like the idea of it holding a wave and a curl when I want it too.

I lost count of the amount of times my hair has been JHS
and it holds a curl with no problem but dries straight

I just got JHS for the 3rd time.
I went to Top Point twice and this last time tried Hair Club IB. I got great results from both places. Hair Club IB was a lot cheaper ($140 for me). Top Point was $230 for me, still a great price when compared to salons here in Suffolk.
My hair air-dries pin straight but is able to hold a curl when I want a different look.

My friend just got Brazilian straightening and loves it! She paid $200 for short hair. It only lasts 4-5 months, but that's what she wanted. She said it's amazing how she can wake up and her hair looks exactly the same as when she's done drying it and what not. It dries pin straight, but she blows it a little to get as much body as posisble.

the same for me...
I go to Hair Village in Woodside, they charge anywhere from $150-$200 depending on what kinda hair u have and what shape it is in.
