Off to my CVS...UPDATE at bottom
Wish me luck...I am so nervous- I really could use some prayers. My DH is out of town but luckily my parents are visiting so my Dad is going with me while my Mom watches Grace. I hope they don't think he is my DH! That would be too funny

Thanks ladies for the prayers! It all went really well. I was only there for 3 hours which is amazing since the last time we were there for over 9! This doctor is the one who pioneered CVS and he has a very low miscarriage rate, so he is always overbooked but yesterday for some reason.
My Dad got to come in for the sono part and saw his first sonogram- it was amazing. They also had 4D pics now which they didn't have with Grace. It was so cool to see the baby move.
My genetic counselor is going to order me a FISH test so I don't have wait 3 weeks for the initial results. I am hoping to hear by Friday. everything is ok and I can relax and enjoy this pregnancy.

I am 38 and had a pregnancy end due to Trisomy 16. So it was recommended for the first pregnancy and I was asked if I wanted it for my second. The peace of mind is so worth it for me. This doctor is so experienced that the miscarriage rate is extremely low.

The first time I had this they had the wrong chart so they thought I had strep B(the other patient did) and had to go through my stomach. I didn't feel a thing during or afterwards. It was amazing.
This time I had my correct chart( I checked it a zillion times) and they did it the other way-vaginally. This hurt like hell--My uterus kept moving so the nurse kept moving the sono bar over my belly really hard to move the baby. Then he kept moving the speculum to get a better angle. It was REALLY uncomfortable. I wish they did it through my stomach again.
