Anyone else have a yeast infection?
Ugh - my Dr said most woman towards the end get one but there really is nothing they can prescribe , they cant give me a strong enough medication so I have to wait until  is born!
Its not too painful, but a little when I wipe after going to the bathroom and sometimes when I walk. It just feels like there is a dry peice of wood stuck there!

UGH!!!! Yeast infections love me! I have gotten them on and off every month since i was 10 wks pregnant, Being 34 wks now I am so done with them!!!!!! But they are not done with me

You can't use monistat?? Or that isn't working for you?
I had a wicked one because I had a UTI and the antobiotics killed me and my midwife said that monistat was safe and recomended that I use the 7 day course instead of the 1 or 2 day one!
Eat yougurt and you can also buy in the pharmacy probiotics to replenish vaginal flora.
They are pills that actually contain the healthy bacteria found in the vagina that will help kill off the yeast infection!

Definitely ask your OB about probiotics and live cultures. These work wonders on me, and so far my Dr has OKed me to take them while PG. The most potent live cultures I have found are usually in the refrigerator at the health food store I frequent.

i know this sounds ridiculously gross...and i know were not supposed to use tampons...but i have been getting yeast infections for YEARS because i have chronic strep and im always on antibiotics...
anyway, my mother once told me to put a tampon dipped in regular plain yogurt in...and it works...you need a pad obviously cause its messy,...and being pregnant, you cant insert a tampon i know, but maybe just use it around the outside if youre uncomfortable...i know...sounds gross, but id do anything to feel better wheni have one.,..
thankfully ive only gotten 2 so far during this PG, and they went away on their own, thank G'd..

I had one last month. The doc prescribed Terazol 7. Its a cream you use for 7 days. I had relief by the next day. I remember having been told that the pills arent supposed to be taken but I can't remember why.
