wanting to try again....
So I had my 2 week follow-up appointment after my D&C and everything went well. My gyn said everything is fine and I could start trying again once I get AF. So I called the RE's office just to keep them in the loop of what was going on and they said that I shouldnt come in to see them for another 2 months!!! UGGHHH!!! 2 months!!! Does that sound right??

Oh I'm so sorry. Waiting really sucks. I notice that every place is different with their waiting times. I hope the 2 months will go by fast and then you can start again.

I waited 2 months too but for insurance reasons. It's hard but it goes by so fast.
I have to wait 3 months/30 pounds before I can start my next IVF cycle so, we can wait together!
We should meet up for a drink again

After my miscarriage, I was able to try again the next cycle (once AF came). I miscarried naturally though, I don't know if that makes a difference.

I was allowed to start right away after my first miscarriage. This time I was also, but other problems came about.
Did they tell you why you had to wait? My RE said that regular OB's usually say that, but it isn't necessary if everything checks out okay.
Sorry you have to wait...It is awful!

No they didnt tell me why....but I got the impression thats what they tell patients acrosss the board.

After my ectopic and subsequent surgery they made us wait three months. We didn't use protection during that time because I didn't want to prevent the 1 in 1,000,000 chance that we would have an "oops" baby.
The time will fly. Good luck! If you guys meet up for a drink, I'm coming!

I had a d&c, but started IVF after my first period (I think), so I just went on BCP so I guess that didn't matter.
