Dh doesn't appreciate my humor
A few months ago we purchased an investment property that we intended on renting to students. It's been a few stressful months of renovations and advertising to get the place rented.
Well, yesterday the lease was signed and the students give us our first check on Friday! The first year of profits should bring us about $10k.
So, when DH called me to tell me the great news, I responded with, GREAT! That will pay for our 2nd kid! 
And on the other end of the line, silence...

It is funny tho how IF takes over and whenever we get extra $ we immediately think of the treatments it will help pay for...

Well i got a from it. My DH doesn't get my humor with all this either. They are in a totally different world than us (or planet, right?). What can you do?
