W T F is wrong with people!
I am watching Animal Cops even though I shouldn't. They have a case on with a bull terrior. The dog was tied in someones back yard. Had mange and cuts and scrapes all over it's body and a broken leg. How did they find this dog? A passerby saw this dog laying on the side of the street. A neighbor saw the dog jump out of the back of a pick up truck and get dragged along the street until the copper wire that was around his neck broke. The passerby was in tears the ASPCA lady was in tears and OF couse im in tears.
Even if you aren't an animal lover how could you do that? How could you do that to an animal a defensive animal.
The dog had to be put to sleep  They said it's probably the nicest thing everyone has ever done for him.

I watch that show ALL the time.. Thank God I didnt see this.. I am sick to my stomach just reading your post. Some of the things that go on is this world makes me so sad. poor dog.. He is at the rainbow bridge but I dont think his owner will be going there to see him.. i hope I do so I can love him up..

You just made me smile  You are right he is in a much better place.
They don't know who the owner is (well the show is on so maybe they will find them by the end)
I just think about my Rudy. He freakin sleeps in my bed... He has a better life then I do

This poor dog didn't have any hair. The mange was so bad that it was just raw skin.

I saw that episode and was hysterical crying over that poor dog.
There was another one where a couple had a doberman and another dog and the other dog was fed, had a doghouse, was in good shape, etc. The dobie was riddled with mange, starving and tied out with no shelter....how do you do that to one animal while taking care of the other.
The good thing was they lost both dogs and the dobie got better.

I cannot watch this show anymore. I'll never forget one episode where they found a starving dog in someone's basement. The poor thing was skelatal and so weak it couldn't even lift it's head. Amazingly enough though, it wagged its tail when it saw the animal cops. It was like he knew they were there to help him. Sadly, he died on the way to the hospital. I was hysterical and I can't bring myself to watch that show since

I watch that show all the time. It can be so depressing that there are people out there that do this to defenseless animals but it's also encouraging watching these people get their a$ses handed to them in court (even though most of the time the sentence isn't as severe as it should be) and also the people who see what is going on and reports it to the ASPCA. I also love when they take the abused / neglected dogs and work with them and heal them and then adopt them out to good families. I cry all the time when I watch animal cops.
