UTI -type symptoms, but no UTI?
I thought I had a bad UTI last week, so I went to my doctor, who took a test, said he didn't see anything, but gave me meds while it got cultured. It started to feel better while on the meds, but toward the end of the week, the doctor told me that I did not have a UTI, so I stopped taking the medication. I felt better, but yesterday, I started to feel the intense pressure extreme need to pee again. My question is, do any of you feel this way and don't have a UTI? My doctor thinks that it could just be the position of the uterus on my bladder, but I am only 8 weeks, how big can it be? And why did the medication make me feel better if I had no infection? I am so confused!

I don't know but I just wanted to give you since you feel crappy. My dr. actually told me I had UTI at my last appt and I hadn't noticed anything wrong. I completed the antibiotics, now I've been done with them for about 10 days or so and now I actually feel like I might have one. So annoying.
Maybe call him and ask him to explain further the positioning comment. Maybe it is big enough to be putting pressure??

i had the same problem - UTI smptoms but no UTI at around the same time (10 weeks).
no idea what it was, but it got better. the dr didn't know what it was and didn't seem concerned.
now, at 33 weeks, i feel like i should just move my office into the bathroom

I feel your pain!!! When you felt this way at 10 weeks, did you notice if it was worse at night?
