i had my baby
friday July 18th I started getting contractions very random then at about 6pm they started to get closer together, about 7-8 minutes apart i called my dr. he said to go to the hospital and see how dilated i was, so at 9pm we went and i was only 1cm so they monitored me for a little and then i went home ( still in a lot of pain), i didnt sleep all night friday and saturday the contractions were still there and in my back, i was so uncomfortable, i couldnt sleep eat even sit.... i took a warm shower and it felt good except once i got out my contractions were closer together then at about 7pm my water broke and back to the hospital we went! this time i was 5cm fully effaced, they admited me(winthrop university), i had the most amazing nurses ever, the only bad thing was i couldntget my epidural until 12ish so i was in pain for a while but once i got the drugs i was so comfortalble. i pushed for about 2 1/2 hrs till my little man arrived, he was born 7/20 @ 4:46 am 7.2lbs 20.5inches. i can not stress how amazing Winthrops nurses were

Congratulations!!!!! I had a great experience at Winthrop too! Loved the nurses, the ones in purple were not full nurses but one was especially great and I have her a $25. gift card to Red Lobster since she was so special.
Congrats again on your little man!!

Congrats! I feel so much better that you said the nurses were great b/c that's where I will be delivering. Very comforting to know.
