can dogs get hairballs????
The past two days my dog has had an on-again off-again throaty cough. DH and I thought that the leash was aggitating him so we shortened his walks (our backyard isn't fenced, so we had to walk) and watched what he ate and rubbed/massaged his throat. It happened sporadically so we just kept watch over him and other than that cough he seemed perfect. Then yesterday I come home from work and find three puddles of vomit. It was brown/orange colored and had hair in it.... now I also have two cats, but it was a lot of puke for cats. And since I found it, my dog hasn't coughed anymore. It looked like little hairballs. Can dogs get hairballs??
