I am being induced tonite-help!
ok, i am leaving for the hospital at 630 tonite and am a nervous wreck! didnt have a chance to post earlier. was at dr's yesterday just slightly more than 50% effaced and fingertip dilated so i have to be there tonite to start the cervadil, and tomorrow a.m. my dr will come to stat the pitocin. i dont have a text buddy since i missed posts about doing that last month, grr but if anyone wants to be mine still, please fm me tonite! i will try and get on with my phone to check my email if i can, not sure if i can log in but well see, unless someone gets me b4 i leave in a few...if not, i will post after baby Ava Isabella arrives! i am deathly afraid of the dreaded c-section, hopefully it wont happen, but i know there is a strong chance with the baby still being higher up. i am crazy about being induced too, my friend told me today she had it done and was in paid from the cervadil and they gave her an enema b4! i know this has been posted b4, but if anyone can post there experiences with being induced, i'd love to hear it! wish me luck and some easy labor vibes!

I was induced but never had an enema. I didnt think they still did that. If you cant handle the pain, ask for some pain medication,I was given staidol. Cervidil is fine, pitocin is the one that brings the contractions on harder and quicker, you'll probably be between 4 & 6cm before you get the epidural.
My induction did end in a c-section. I have to say in all honesty, it wasnt as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Just relax and your  will be here before you know it

Good luck, and I say don't worry about posting, just rest as much as you can tonight.
I was induced and there was no enema. You can tell them not to give you one if you don't want it, I don't think there is any solid health reason for doing this. I also didn't have any unusual pain from the Cervadil or pitocin--labor pains yes, but those you would have no matter what.
