anyone not happy with JHS?
this pic isn't me, but it might as well be.
I have tons of this dry crazy hair
I am so scared that JHS won't make it shiney or nice, but burnt and crispy...but it would change my life not to have to blow it out or attempt to curl it daily.

That's what my hair would look like if I brushed the curls out back before I started JHS. I desparately need to get it done again (recently moved and am leary about going to a new place), but you'll be amazed at what you're hair will end up like!

Janice - your hair is going to be GORGEOUS!!! The ends will be fried, so you'll want to get them cut after - but you will love this!
It has changed my life - esp now living in Florida!

the only thing stopping me now is DH likes it big and curly...but honestly, I can't keep up with it anymore and its tied back in a rat's nest.
never in my life have I had manageable hair....my hair grows fast so what's the worst that can happen????
does anyone know any good people in staten island who do it?

I'm sure it will come out looking fabulous -
BUT, keep in mind that you have to keep up with it, and you will basically have to keep your hair straight .....well, forever. - Unless you chop it all off and let it grow back in - I think it's awesome for people who like their hair straight and WANT IT THAT WAY ALL THE TIME, or for those with unruly but normally straight hair ........but if you normally wear it big and curly, IMO JHS is a MAJOR and almost permanent change (considering what you'd have to do to get the curls back)
Have you tried getting a differnt cut or using different products to manage your hair?
I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but if the only reason you're doing it is to have manageable hair, and NOT b/c you love your hair poker straight..........I don't know .........

yeah, that's what has me on the fence.
I am fine with straight, DH likes big.
When I do my hair, it comes out great...but its a process, one that definitely limits my summer swimming

why don't you try brazilian/keratin treatment?
it makes it managable. not flat or stick straight.
you can dry it straight and smooth OR wear it curly and it will be better for both.

I had no time to do my hair with Jack. Now - I jump in the shower - and my hair dries perfectly. Makes such a difference!!!
