Phenylalanine
I just realized whiile food shopping that I was drinking yogurt smoothies with Phenylalanine in it during my 1st trimester. I probably only had 10-15 at the most and they weren't big, but now i'm nervous. I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow and talk to him, but do any of you know anything about this? Do you think it could have caused brain damage or would I have had to have drank a lot of them?

I'm sure everything is fine. I wouldn't worry too much but calling your doctor may at least put your mind at ease.

I'm pretty sure everything will be fine. I think you have to ingest it in mass quantities to cause any ill effect. Ask your doctor though, to ease your mind.
