Kinda bummed out (JCPenneys Baby Furniture)

So, I called all the locations on LI (from Roosevelt to Lake Grove) and no location carries the nursery furniture. Its strickly a catalog/online order. I've heard great things, but I truely wanted to see the sets in person to get an idea on color & sturdiness.

Would you;

still order based off the strong reviews
or
look elsewhere

I would still order it... If you dont like the quality, you can still return it.

JCP cribs usually get pretty good reviews,

Hmm, tough call. I like to feel and touch things so I personally would go elsewhere. But I have heard okay things about JCP so you'd probably be okay!

Everyone I've spoken to said they are great, plus its real wood at the cheaper prices!! Hmm, got ask my Mom's thoughts. She's buying us the set.

We ordered our cribs from there and truly love them so far. They are high quality wood and JPMA-certified. I also was nervous about not liking it, but we made out pretty well. We had them shipped to the store and found a coupon code so we did not pay shipping.

wow! Thanks for doing the homework on that - I had no idea they didn't have it in a store
I even went to PB in Tanger yesterday to see if they have one on sale and being on sale it was still over $500! I am looking for stury, but inexpensive.

hmm that's a tough one. I too like to see things in person...open and close the drawers and all. I guess I'm no help here. They have some beautiful pieces. Good luck.

I have the Bella set so it that's the one you are looking at you can come see it set up here I'm pretty happy with the quality.

We ordered our set w/o seeing it. if jcpenny's has raveonline reviews for your furniture, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

our set had about 80 glowing reviews, and they were all true! we love our set

I am probably going to order our furniture from there sight unseen.

I have a kitchen table and chairs set from there and the quality was amazing for the price, so I have very high confidence in purchasing from them.

I am ordering from JCP. I dont mind at all that I cant touch/feel it or see it. I like what I saw in the catalog and that was enough for me!

here is the set I'm thinking about. Being my Mom is buying it, I wanted to show it to her.

I LOVE THIS SET!! I want to know how light the natural finish is. Maybe I'll go into the store and see if they can show me in the catalog. Maybe it will be better. For under 1K for 100% real wood, how can I loose...
