After a haircut...

does anyone feel like that have to come home and re-wash and blowdry their hair? I just got my hair done and there was so much product in it that I had to come home and re-wash and dry it. I usually tell her not to put anything in it but I was getting a different style so I wanted to see what she would do with it.

It just feels so gross to me! Anyone else do this?

Re: After a haircut...

If they do my hair curly I immediately wash and redo it -

- If it's blown out straight, I hate to wash it !!

My mom does this every time. She hates the smell of all products. I don't usually have a problem with that--they just use mousse or something to blow dry it and a litle hair spray, it's never gunky.

i usually tell them to NOT use any product at all, not even hairspray. salons tend to over do it with product. i usually go home and fit my hair the way i like it after a new cut before i let anyone see it.

not until this past weekend! Chat Icon

Usually I love the way it looks when I get out of the salon and since I can never do it quite like my stylist I usually leave it alone for a day or two.

I don't re-wash it because I usually get highlights the same day I get it cut.

But I always re-do it when I get home. If I remember (or they are considerate enough to ask) I tell them to go light on the product and no hair spray.

Re: After a haircut...

i leave my blow out for a day then i look forward to blowing it out myself

but i do thin my stylist blows it much better than i do. sits so shiny and smells good when i come out of the salon

but on the other hand, i like to do it myself to see how it looks when i do it in the real world

Sometimes my girl is a little heavy handed with serum and my fine hair ends up feeling really oily. I usually deal with it for the day.
