yay or nay - Le Sportsac
I am going to Europe and I am looking for a bag to use while traveling around. There is a store by me that sells LeSportsac bags at a deep discount. I was thinking of buying a small messenger type bag to use on my trip. Some of the prints are cute. what do you think?

Conigs25 used LeSportSac while in Europe and really liked it. I don't know which one she had though. I was going to get one but I couldn't find a pattern that I liked.

I love Le Sportsac. I never pay full price for them either--I usually get them at Sym's or Filene's or someplace like that.
I use one for my commuting bag--it's nice & lightweight, and it holds up well.
It sounds like it would work for what you need.
I am picking about the patterns though, & sometimes I love them, and then sometimes I go a few seasons withouth finding one I like.

i just picked up one for a friend for travelling at the south hampton outlet
it's a a long rectangle with 3 compartments on an adjusting strap.
zip on top, the middle & another lower one
she loves it for shopping & going out

I have a solid black messenger bag that I always use when I travel - It is just the right size to hold everything I need without being bulky!
