Hi there and welcome! This board is chock full of animals lovers!!!
Please make sure you check out the locked topic about pet shops on top in case you are considering getting a pet soon from a store.
What kind of pet are you going to get? cat? dog? We just have 1 cat, but wish we could have a dog too--just don't have the space now for it

I am a newish pet person myself
I have 2 adopted cats
Pokey a male persian who we adopted at 7- he is the light of my life
and Maggie - who is alittle over a year- we got her for Pokey to have a friend and they LOVE each other
next year- we plan on getting not 1 but 2 dogs
I want even numbers!
