I got SO mad this morning
The road I take to work is very busy and has a lot of traffic...the past few weeks every now and then I see a mom with 2 kids and a beautiful black lab puppy....she just lets the puppy go out into the front yard (not fenced). I've seen the puppy wander into the road and then she walks over to grab it...she looks like she thinks she lives in the middle of nowhere with wide open fields around....
So this morning, I am at the red light and their house is to my left. I see her out there with the puppy (walking on the sidewalk, stepping into the street, no leash) and she is just la-di-da ....so I couldn't help it - I rolled down my window and just yelled out "That's just a really stupid thing to do!" And then the light changed. It just made me so angry...that puppy is just a baby and doesn't know better.. and it wasn't like she was telling him "NO!" when he stepped in the street...she just lazily would grab his collar and pull him on the sidewalk.
If I see that again he is mine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where do you live? Report the address for dog off leash. She will receive a fine. That will teach her to keep the dog on leash and save his life. Sorry to say but he will be killed one day.
Across the street from me a cat was killed and the owner stated to me.."he was stupid, he did not know how to cross the street". Hopefully she will meet the same fate...sorry to say.

I think what she is saying is that she hopes the pet owner receiving a fine will wake her up and make her put a leash on the dog so it DOESN'T get killed.
I think this is a great idea... There are leash laws in Suffolk County... and I'm sure there are in Nassau too.

hmmm...this is in Somerset County, NJ - but I am def. going to look into the leash laws.
