I have no idea what to wear on Sunday....
my older sister is having a very small, casual wedding.
Her boyfriend of over 10 years is very sick with cancer....so they are having an impromptu wedding...
It is at the town hall, followed by a BBQ at a friend's house.
The invitation said Casual....
I really have NO idea what I should wear!!

I would wear a sundress.

I would wear a cotton summer dress..something comfy and easy to wear.
Lots of stuff at macys.

The only problem is that I dont' know if I'd feel comfortable in a sundress. I don't really wear dresses --- ever. I am plus sized and so I am in pants/capris all the time.
I actually saw a basic black dress that I thought was cute not too long ago while out with my sister-----and she told me "no, not the look for you" so that just further made me think I shouldn't do it.
Can I do capris and a nice top?

Definitely. Nice capri's, a dressy top with strappy shoes, I think would look very nice.

you know, sometimes a pretty dress is more flattering on a "plus" sized woman than capris are!
do yourself a favor...go to a dept store and ask a sales lady to help you pick out some flattering dresses.
there HAS TO BE one that will make you look and feel like a BAJILLION BUCKS.
capris rarely truly look flattering on anyone, b/c of the length...especially at an event.

Check out Dress Barn or Sears.
I too am a plus size and have gotten nice casual dresses from these stores.
As my mother says: "You don't know what it looks like until you try it on"..."You can't judge it from the hanger".
I always remember this while shopping.
