Baby Registry?
Where are you registered at, and if i may ask why you chose to register at the particular store, instead of another?
TIA!

Re: Baby Registry?
I registered at Target this time. I felt that there is a Target everywhere so it makes it convenient for everyone. Plus they had everything I wanted/needed.

Re: Baby Registry?
Im registered at BBB and BRU. Though I like BBB much better, BRU is sort of a necessary evil.

LOL.. I have no idea what I'll need and where to register, but just found the Stroller (travel system) I want, and it's only at BRU!

Re: Baby Registry?
So far I've registered at BRU since a lot of my family and friends are from out of the area and there's no BBB by them. Honestly, I have spoken with a lot of friends who are new moms and their biggest piece of advice to me is to put the bug in everyone's ear that outside of the items I have specifically requested on my registry, to give me giftcards since a lot of stuff you end up getting can often go to waste.

Re: Baby Registry?
i registered at BRU because they seem to have the lowest prices and biggest selection - plus everything is pretty much available online.
i did register at BRU for my bedding b/c that's the only place that had it, and i also put my travel system on there since BRU still doesn't have it available
i also have a tiny registry at target, just some things that are only available there, or are the lowest-priced.

Re: Baby Registry?
I registered at BRU because I liked their online registry waaaaaaay better than BBB, they had everything I wanted, and there are many more locations on the island than BBB.

Same here. DH HATES BRU but agreed that it's more convenient for some of our family members. I really like BBB. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Plus, people can use a nonexpired Bed Bath & Beyond coupon on many items. I'm all for my family and friends spending less on gifts.

Re: Baby Registry?
I registered mostly at BRU and for a few items at BBB. I could only find the color Graco car seat and color bassinet I wanted at BBB. I found BBB had more selection than BRU, but most of my family shop at BRU. BRU also has a better online system. BBB's online system drove me crazy.

Re: Baby Registry?
BRU... it was the best option for everyone. I originally wanted to just do Amazon, but it would have been a hassle with returns and shipping so I switched.

Re: Baby Registry?
I registered at BRU and Target. BRU has a lot of choices and Target is close to my house. That's why I chose those 2 places! XOXOXO BOTB

Re: Baby Registry?
I registered at Buy Buy Baby. My reasons were these:
1) My SIL had a bad experience at one of the BRU stores. She was out with my nephew in his stoller [he was about 2 months old] and the stoller broke. She hailed a cab and went to BRU. She told them/showed them that the stoller was broken and after arguing with her, they got a new one. They gave her a big box. They refused to help her put it together!! She had a 2 month old in her arms and was by herself!! Thankfully, a CUSTOMER who was a Mom, helped her put the stroller together as she was hysterically crying. No one from the STORE would help her! I am all about customer service and even though this was just one store [in NYC] it still made me so mad that I refused to register there.
2) Anytime I go into BRU, there are lines at every register. Even during the week!!
3) I have heard that BRU is changing their return policy so that a gift receipt is necessary to make any return. This has not been confirmed though.
4) I like that people can use unexpired Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons at Buy Buy Baby, since the stores are owned by the same company.
