Balley's in Levittown?

Anybody belong there? I do, and I can't WAIT until my contract is up. It's so skeevy! I worked out this morning, and this one woman was asking me about my IPod, and then another one came walking by, and instead of saying excuse me, she just pushed the other woman! I couldn't believe it! And then I go to my row of lockers, and there was about 5 naked old women. I swear, completely naked! I rushed out of there. One starts walking towards the shower, naked, and she had to get through, and was like excuse me, and I just thought, eeew, please don't brush up against me, cause it was soo crowded. I think I may go to the one in Copiague. Anyone go there? I hope it's better.

I belonged to 2 NYSCs, and the one I belong to now ALWAYS have random older naked ladies wandering about. I have a feeling that it's something you see a lot at gyms. I didn't see it as much at the one in Whitestone, but the one I belong to now is bigger and has a pool- it seems like lots of the ladies shower after swimming.

I think most gyms will tend to get gross because of the volume of people using them. I don't see it as much at my current NYSC, but at the other one there was ALWAYS someone there cleaning.

Maybe I just won't go on Sunday mornings. But honestly, I don't think the machines are that great. There is always 1 treadmill not working. I brought DH with me, and he couldn't believe how old the weight room's equipment was (downstairs). I never taken any classes there, because it always looks soo crowded. Maybe it's just me. I get really skeeved by people

DH is a member at Bally's and his contract was $35/month for two years and $13/month for the rest of his life.
On a side note, my mom lives up the street from the Bally's you guys are talking about and I have to agree that I find it kind of skeevy. I have been going to gyms my whole life and that one was the worst. As was said, the free weight machines downstairs are archaic and I find the treadmill area dirty...why don't they have paper towels and spray so you can clean your machine when you are done? Every other gym in the world does. The old ladies actually didn't bother me, I think they get to a point where they don't care who sees them naked.
