Appetite in the first trimester...
I am only in the beginning of my 2nd month, but already I feel my appetite has increased dramatically. Is this normal? It seems so soon to always be wanting to eat, and I'm afraid if this keeps up for 9 months, I'm going to look like a house! Please share your experiences. Thanks!

Totally normal. Listen to your body and try to eat healthy snacks. I ate all day long since 6-7 weeks and I didn't gain toooooo much.

I totally agree! I'm 19 weeks and have gained 9 lbs so far and had an increased appetite right from the beginning. I eat around 6 times a day, 3 meals and snacks in between and don't hold back if I'm hungry, you should listen to your body.

OK, thanks Ladies. I like to eat, so it shouldn't be too hard to follow the body's orders now that I know it's normal!

I have to say I've had the worst appetite in this first trimester. This is coming from a girl who eats anything and everything and has been dubbed "the garbage disposal" by DH.
I am extremely picky about what I eat now. I have aversions to just about anything you can think of and my menu has been drastically been cut down!
It really stinks and I want my appetite back!!!! Everyone is different so I envy those who have a good appetite now!

I had no increase in appetite. At 23 weeks...my appetite is still normal...but when I do need to eat...get out of my way....

yes, i couldnt eat anything the first couple of weeks and then it was like someone flipped a switch and I was eating everything in sight. Normal

My appetite really fluctuated in the 1st trimester. At times I would be starving and then at others, I couldn't even look at food.
