What kind of belt would you wear...?
with a cotton dress?
I bought a casual cotton dress last week at J. Crew and would like to belt it around my hips. I'm thinking a metal link belt would be the best way to go... but I'm not sure 
also, I don't own a belt like that. I only have the leather kind.

how about something patent leather (if you're trying to dress it up a bit?)
if you're going really casual, i'd say a wide leather belt - color would depend on the color of the dress

Do you have a pic? I would say a grosgrain ribbon belt or maybe a silk scarf depending on the style.

Personally I think a leather belt would look "too 80's" unless that is the look you want. A chain would be nice or a scarf/sash.

yea - a skinny chain type belt is what I was thinking too... but I don't have one. any idea where I can get one?
