Atlantic City hotels
ETA: Sorry i meant to post in Travel!!!!
Mom and Dad want to go to AC for the weekend. They have a party down on the shore on Sunday, so they thought they would go to AC for Sunday night and Monday.
What hotels do you recommend? I was thinking the Tropicana but I don't know what else is down there.
Also, i know it's last minute, so I am hoping they can get a last minute deal or do you think it would actually not be possible?

Re: Atlantic City hotels
We usually stay in Caesar's. Very nice.
We just stayed at the Tropicana which was nice also.
Our last trip, we stayed at Trump Plaza. It was the only thing available. But we were bumped up to Penthouse Suite. It was GORGEOUS! The rest of the hotel, I'm not too sure.

agreed - we get room comps, and sometimes they are sparse even for us, during the summer. I'd try one of the hotel chains off the boardwalk on or near the AC Expressway/Garden State
If you look in the next town over (Absecon), you may find some stuff

That's what we did. We're going to see Elton John in a couple of weeks in AC and the rooms on the boardwalk were $$$$$$$ and many were already sold out. I live in NJ and we were going to drive home after the show, but I was able to find a reasonable hotel in Absecon

Very true.
But I have to say, we have NEVER paid for a room (or food) EVER!
Gotta love comps!
Your parents might be better off going on a weeknight- much less crowded.

Re: Atlantic City hotels
We stayed at Harrah's which was really nice. It was clean and the pool was indoors but you would never know. They have the Red Door spa for your mom and they have a lot of resturants also. We ended up going to dinner at the Borgata and that looks like a nice hotel as well.

Re: Atlantic City hotels
We use to stay at Harrahs. They stopped giving us free rooms. Now we stay at Borgata.
My mom and Dad and Aunt and Uncle only stay at the Hilton. It's nice
