Waxing while pregnant: Ouch!
I had my first waxing appointment since my BFP. I used to take 2 advil before going, but didn't take anything this time. I was afraid to go any further than a bikini wax since I heard that area is much more sensitive when pregnant. It was probably a combination of no advil, low tolerance for pain, not having gone in a while , and being pregnant, but holy crap it hurt. At least the stinging goes away pretty quickly. Anyone who gets a brazilian while pregnant is my hero.

I'm going to get a leg and bikini wax in a few days. It usually hurts like heck, now it is going to worse. Great Is it safe to take a tylenol before going?

I was nervous about this because I heard it would hurt a lot worse than normal..but when I recently went for my brazilian it was the same..I hope the next time it is the same way! lol

I keep putting it off..I'm 37 weeks now so I'm running out of time. I'll probably get a brazilian done next week.

Re: Waxing while pregnant: Ouch!
I had a Brazilian 2 days before giving birth to my son (he was due the following week, I had him a few days early). OUCH!! Regardless, I will most likely do it again with this one! It was "easier" to recover from my emergency c-section scar hairless I didn't have to worry about shaving and bending down

Re: Waxing while pregnant: Ouch!
I kept up with my brazilians thoroughout my pregnancy (37 weeks 5days). I did not find the pain to be any worse but I went every 6 weeks.

I think it's ok since Tylenol is safe to take during pregnancy. I think I may have to do that if I go back.
I admit I don't have a high tolerance for pain, but it was much worse than I remember it. I'm sure if I start going more often, it won't be as bad.
