If you are seeing an RE, call him/her.
If you are seeing an endocrinoligisst, I would call him/her and have them refer you to an RE. Your OB could do the same, but the endo will have more info on your bloodwork, which is what the RE needs.

Re: for girls who have PCOS

I've only seen my regular gyno. I have never had any signs of it until last year. I thought I was stressed and thats why af was wacky. Apparently not.

I would start with your gyno and go from there.

Re: for girls who have PCOS

In my experience OBGYNs know very little about PCOS and how to treat it.

I would go to an RE. If you need the referral hit up the OB first.

Same here. Apparently my OB/GYN suspected PCOS about 6 years before she bothered to tell me that I had it. She put me on the Pill to mask the symptoms. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
