Well if you ask my mom, she would say yes  but she's just bitter!
I think I've picked up some intonation, but I consciously try not to pick it up!
When DH was living in NY, his family said they could definitely hear a change. His T's weren't so pronounced anymore - instead of CITY he would pronounce it CIDDY like a true New Yawkah!
