Tums??
How many are we allowed to take? I never get heartburn but right now it hurts sooooo bad !! I had 2 tums about an hr ago and its back !! I dont know if it was th PB&J sandwich or the milk but man this s*cks

I would go by the direction on the package...I THINK it says 2 Tums every 4 hours...or as needed. But I am not sure.

oh cwap....I don't have my bottle with me to tell you.
Regular strength on their website says:
Directions
Chew 2 – 4 tablets as symptoms occur, or as directed by a doctor
Do not take more than 15 tablets in 24 hours.
Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks without consulting your physician.

it says to take 2-4 twice a day but i have been taking like 2-4 every 2 hours. it also says not to take more then 10 in a day. i take them as the heartburn comes. so far im still alive but i do get a little nauses feeling sometimes which i blame on the tums.

It says 2 on the back, so thats all I have ever taken. Not sure what the doctor would say, but 2 have always worked well for me.

I just read somewhere that drinking milk helps heartburn symptoms...so I chased a few tums the other day with some milk and it did the trick.

this is true but for me it dosnt always work or it will work for like 15 min and then its back. today has been the first day in a week i havent had any heartburn and im LOVING IT! lol
