I think I am destined to be covered up this summer
I am so frustrated!!! I can not find a bathing suit that looks decent. I tried on a 2 piece the other day and almost cried. I am pear shaped, so I gain in my thighs and hips. The 2 piece bottom cinches in too much on my hip it makes me look like I have horrible bulges. All of the 1 pieces I've seen look too old for me. Would a tankini be more flattering (or at least hide more?)? My tummy is flat, and I have a decent sized bust. I also don't want to make my legs look horrible. Any suggestions?

I am the same shape, I have a swimsuit that is a tank top and it has a swim skirt. Very flattering and it is a 2-piece.

If you want a 2 piece & are comfortable with showing your stomach, I'd get one with a skirt or shorts, not a tankini, b/c that will cover your stomach, which seems to be one of your assets.

What about a swimdress? That will cover up some of your booty and hips..

My friend is pear shaped w/ a flat tummy and she wears a regular bikini (scoop bottom) and buys a wrap to tie around her hips when she is walking around. She always looks great. You have to buy separates.

This is exactly what I do. I have wraps and matching coverup skirts from Victoria secret. they also have skirted mid scoop bottoms that are really cute.

Thats' exactly what I was thinking of too.
Maybe something like that or a swim dress would be cute. I am very self conscious, but I don't want to get anything I really don't like or makes me "feel fat".
I really need to start hitting the gym again
