The Forgiver or

In a situation where two people are dealing with forgiveness either giving it or asking for it...

Which do you think is harder....
Being the forgiver or the forgiven?

Being the forgiven

I agree
Its easy for me to forgive but when faced with being forgiven, it must mean I was wrong, did something wrong etc and thats hard on your pride etc...

Being the forgiver.

Although it's hard to be the forgiven also, depending on how serious the offense was. Usually the bigger the offense, the harder it is to forgive.

I agree 100% you forgive but you don't forget. The offender moves on but the offended lives with it for a long time.

Re: The Forgiver or

IMO it is much harder for the forgiver:
1. because most likely in this kind of case the forgiver was very hurt
2. they have to decide if they can even accept what happened and how that affects them as a person
3. IF they decide to forgive...acting holding up to that, meaning trying to let go and go on.
4. If they forgive the possiblility of suspicions, paranoia may still happen, even witht he best intentions...
5. If they chose not to forgive, ultimately it was their decision to end a relationship which in and of itself is hard
