Semi-decent news
Ok so it sux major arse that I have to teach summer school with only 9 weeks to go in my pregnancy. But today I just found out that I am teaching ART! SWEET! No academics, less behavioral issues and since I have already taught art (for 2 years) and saved my lesson plans, I can repeat stuff I already did with a new bunch of students.

There is supposed to be because many of the students I work with are on various medications, but you know how it is.

Come on my friend, you met my financially Republican husband. His irrational fear of a Democratic government driving taxes to an all time high and ruining the nation forces me to "play it safe", work while I can and bank it.
I already warned him about next summer - ain't happening.
I won't be any different from any other woman who has to work up until her due date (or in my case 2 weeks before). Unfortunately, I will be sweating just a little more than usual.

That may call for sponge paints.

I actually have a great Finger painting lesson plan if you want it... I did it with my first graders and it came out adorable!! They LOVED it! and it can definitely be used with older children as well...
watercolors and white crayons are fun to play with also... they think it is magic... let me know if you need any help with ideas...
