Exhaustion and a Big Weekend
Ok, so next weekend I'm a little worried. I'm in a wedding (a bridesmaid). Its going to be a long day. She wants us at the house at 10AM for hair/makeup/pics. The wedding doesn't end until 1AM. Now the bride doesn't know I'm preggo yet (she's a nerotic nelly and doesn't need the excess stress). I'll tell her once she comes back from her honeymoon. I get exhausted working 8 hours, how in the world will I make it through the whole day? Any advice?

Re: Exhaustion and a Big Weekend
Kerry- I would tell her before the wedding next weekend. This way she will understand & not expect you to over exert yourself. I'm sure she will be absolutely thrilled. Neurotic or not, she cant possibly that self centered to expect you to be superwoman when your pregnant- especially in your first trimester. It wouldn't be good for you OR the baby.
Try to take it easy & drink alot of fluids that day.

Def. CAN"T tell her, its not even an option, TRUST ME!! She's an amazing friend, but has SOO MUCH on her plate (granted she creates a lot of it herself), I don't need her worrying.

Re: Exhaustion and a Big Weekend
Honestly - I was in my BF's wedding at 10weeks and it's not so bad. The morning you are just getting pampered (Hair/Make-up). IF it's a big bridal party, you'll be able to get away w/o doing much.
Just make sure you drink tons of water and EAT whenever you can. You don'twant to feel faint at an inopportune time.
It is a long day and I was beat at the end, but I'd rather be doing that than working any day, so that made it easier.
Have fun!!
