Stainable??
I want to get this TV stand for the bedroom, but it is the wrong color! It's a pine finish, do you think it can be easily stained into a mahogany finish?? Image Attachment(s):

I think if it has some kind of a sealant you may have to sand it down to stain it.

Like Nicole said....you will have to sand it very good and then stain in.

It may be "fake wood". If its not pure 100% wood... you probably won't be able to do this.
