cap sleeve summer dresses?

Im going to 2 weddings this summer. I think maybe cap sleeves will work best for my not so attractive arms recently, lol..
Has anyone seen any?

Try Nordstrom, they always have nice stuff.

Just be careful with cap sleeves. Sometimes they actually make your arms look larger. At least I know for me it does.

That's what I thought when I first read your post. Typically, cap sleeves are not flattering on bigger arms.

Re: cap sleeve summer dresses?

What about something strappy but with a sheer wrap over it so you're comfortable? I always thought that three quarter sleeves were flattering, if it wouldn't be too hot.

Jola, your arms are PERFECTLY FINE - I can see them in your avatar pic! If it makes you more comfortable, opt for a halter that places the accent on your shoulders more than your arms.

I was going to say halter as well. Or, strapless.

And, I agree...your arms look fine! Chat Icon

I was thinking the same thing - lol - that your arms look fine to me- but I know how it is to not be happy with your body, even when others say you look "fine" Chat Icon

The secret is also to how you position your arm for pics. In this one, you have almost flat against the body, which pushes the fat out. More flattering is out from the body (think hand on hip as opposed to arm flat against body).

Anyway! I would do a halter with a wrap, not cap sleeve. And I think your arms are fine!

Jola, you look beautifulChat Icon

But I do know how it feels to hate your arms! I agree...halter with a wrap. Once you have a drink or two, you won't care what your arms look like Chat Icon Chat Icon

First of all, I don't think your arms look bad AT ALL. Seriously.

Second of all....have a drink! 2 years?? I would go nuts! You can have a drink and it oxidizes after an hour or so.....

Re: cap sleeve summer dresses?

First of all, your arms look fine. The one thing I think they need is a TAN!!! I think they stand out to you because your upper arm is very white compared to your lower arm.

Secondly, a suggestion. What about a bolero to go over a dress?

And third: have a drink! Pump and dump. Or just time it right. I have been BFing for 16 months and I have had a drink here and there. It is okay. Just nurse, then have drink and you should be fine by the next feeding. Don't get smashed, just have a drink.
