My new kitties-need some advice
Im bringing home two 10 week old babies on Wednesday..I promise pictures..
I think we'll keep them in the downstairs bathroom where there is a litter box. Put a water and food bowls and a bed and some toys. I need to sequester them from my 12 year old cat until they get used to each other.
Any other advice to get them used to each other?
I'm more concerned with my older cat than the kittens. The kitties will have each other.

Re: My new kitties-need some advice
when we brought Maggie home we only kept her away from pokey when we went to work
he loved her instantly- and she loved him
we thought he was going to eat her- but we were very wrong
good luck- it will be fun!
this is Maggie trying to get milk from pokey (who is a boy)

Re: My new kitties-need some advice
We kept Bonnie & Clyde in a separate room but they could sniff Buddy from under the door.
They were apart about 2weeks.
We took blankets with the kitty smell on it out to buddy and buddy smelling things into the kittens. Then after two weeks we introduced them carefully and gave them an hour or so then took the kittens back into the room (our bedroom btw)
For a week it was an hour at a time then a whole supervised day.
We had some issues with our previous kitten (sparky who died ) with Buddy so we took it extra careful
