Retired Crocs

After a foot surgery last year it was the ONLY thing I could wear for a while due to the bandage. I always thought they were ugly and could never saw myself wearing them. Then I had to and fell in love with comfort.

I kept wearing them on and off. I had a hard time letting them go.

A part because I did not fit in my shoes from pre-PG.

Well, ladies into fashion, I am happy to say they became my excluse garden shoes. I still get to wear them but in my yard. I am able to fit in a few more shoes. So my self-comfidence in being "better dressed" was boosted and I let them go.

It was a bitter sweet but now know they don't belong in the street.

I may relapse from time to time but I am allowing myself to as long as it's "temporary".

Although I must say, while I don't like them on adults, I think my kids look adorabel in theirs!

Re: Retired Crocs

They do look really cute on people who can wear scrubs to work. I would definitely wear them then, and if they allowed it, I would put charms on!!!!!! If I find an outfit that they would work with, I would really want a pair.

If I was a nurse I would wear them. Most of the nurses at my RE office wear them Chat Icon
