I was the same way.. My friend actually said "wow thats the quickest i ever seen someone open all those presents".. I get soo embarassed opening presents infront of people that i went super fast so it would be over.. 
Dont do what i did.. enjoy every minute of it and go slow.

i felt the same way b4 my shower, i hated the thought of having everyone watch me open the presents! it turned out great tho, and believe me, once u are there u wont even be thinking about it. enjoy your day!

It is a little embarassing, i hear ya. Esp if you get double gifts like i did. Bc you still have to be excited opening it for a second time
