Metformin and REALLY REALLY tired??

Metformin and REALLY REALLY tired??
Is this normal? This week I went from 1 a day to 2 a day and on Mon will have to increase to 3 a day (sorry, I don't know the actual dose) taking the 1, my stomach was a tad bit 'off' so I read all of your posts and changed my diet - so that seems to be under control .........
But REALLY? I fell asleep last night at 9PM and could NOT open my eyes this morning. I've been like this the last 3 days .........I was actually LATE today b/c I slept through my alarms and woke up at 8AM - and THEN passed out on the train to the city !!
Normally I get 5-6 hours of sleep and I'm fine. -
I guess this is just one of those things I'll have to deal with huh?
