Stella is....Update
alone in the house, out of her crate for the first time! We want to start giving her more freedom so today is the day! I will go home at lunch to check on her so I have my fingers crossed that she is being a good girl!
Update: I got home from lunch and she was sleeping like such a good girl! She, of course, got up when she saw me but I am so happy that she did well! No accidents and nothing was destroyed!

She has the kitchen and the den to hang out in...I closed all the bedroom doors so hopefully she is just snoozing on the couch right now being a good girl!

Wow big day for Stella! 
I can't wait to get the courage to do this with Bella. She is 7 months, so thinking a few more months and she should be there. Little by little we are starting to give her more freedom.

I can't wait to get the courage to do this with Bella. She is 7 months, so thinking a few more months and she should be there. Little by little we are starting to give her more freedom.
Stella just turned 7 months! We have been giving her more freedom too...About a month ago, she started sleeping in our room with us out of her crate and she has been such a good girl! And on the weekends when we are home and she isn't in her crate for the day, she is such a happier dog so we'll see how she does today!

It's funny, she sleeps in her crate and for the past few nights I have brought her upstairs with us and then I get nervous and I bring her back down an hour later . She has free run of the house when we are home, but I think she needs a little more time to get there.
