Nervous - Sonogram tomo to see/hear HB
I'm nervous!!! Tomorrow is my sonogram to see (and maybe hear?) the HB!!! I'm trying not to think about it too much, but when I do I can't help but to be nervous.
Anyone else irrationally nervous for the first HB?
Thinking happy thoughts!!!

I am a nervous wreck everytime I go for a sono and then there is such relief when you do hear it the most wonderful sound in the world

I think it's totally normal to be nervous and if not I'm the craziest lady out there!  At 17 weeks I still get super nervous at all my doctor appointments. The first sono was the best - makes it so much more real to see the little one!!!! How far along are you?

Tomorrow at the sono, I will be 7w2d. I've been told that it may be too early to *hear* the HB, but just the right time to *see* the HB.
I'll let you know how it goes after I return tomorrow night!!!!

We just got back from our "1st" sono, and I was nervous wreck!!
I am 6w3d today, and we saw the HB!!
SIMPLY AMAZING!!
Best of luck to you tomorrow. Have no fear, I'm sure everything is great, and tomorrow will confirm the wonderful miracle growing inside you!!

i think you likely will be able to see it which was just as exciting for me!  don't worry if they don't try to hear it tomorrow - the doc will be able to tell that it looks good. Mine didnt take a listen until 12 weeks or so but we saw it much earlier.

You are just a couple of days behind me! We saw the heartbeat last week. It is truly amazing! The first time we went, we did not see the heartbeat. It is scary, but sometimes it needs a couple more days!! I hope all goes well! Update tomorrow when you get home!!!

Hey!!!
I'm back from our doctor's appointment, and WE SAW THE HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was one of the most amazing things we have ever seen. For both of us, our eyes welled up with tears the minute we saw it.
I'm 7w2d today, and the baby is measuring 7w4d. Dr. K. said everything looks great, and he's releasing me to my regular OB/GYN.
I'm so relieved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I can figure out how to get my scanner working again, I'll post a pic of the little bean and you can see how much (s)he has grown!!!

omg, yes it was THE most amazing experience!!!
I have a pic in my album of the updated sonogram. I'm in complete amazement over how much the little one grew over a two week period of time!!!
