So i told DH...
Well i got a early fathers day card and made it look like it came in the mail. I know its cheezy. He says he is happy but i think he is sooo scared that something is going to go wrong. He tells me we shouldnt get our hopes up.  BUt i told him thats no way to talk everything is going to be fine. He will be more excited when all is well i know. Is this normal for DH after a MC.

We were also scared since I was told I couldnt have children so we also didnt know how it was going to go !! Just try to stay positive and I am sure it will all work out for you

Men have such different ways of dealing with things. Trust that he is excited for this baby, so much so that he is afraid to be hurt again with the fear of "what if".

My DH didn't believe it until the doc confirmed it for us like a week later..he kept saying it may be false positives 10 of them??? I think they are sooooo fearful for us and also for them bc I think they get just as emotional as us or even more!!!

Yes that is exactly how my DH reacted when I got pregnant. I think they do it to protect us more than anything so that we are prepared....probably because they had front row seats to how we felt after a MC. Once some time passes (they say once you pass the point where you miscarried last time) he will be able to enjoy it more.

Yes, I think we both had the same reaction when I got my BFP after a MC. It is scary not knowing what the future holds.
Stick together and keep  that your baby is doing fine

I promise, just becuase you endured a miscarriage once, it doesn't mean you will again.......
I totally understand your DH's response, though. I think he's trying to protect both you and him from more pain....
just stay optimistic and enjoy your little bean.... after all, they grow up so fast!

DH and I M/C'd August of last year so when I told him in February that we were pregnant again, he acted really excited at first, and then he went in the bedroom and was all sad and worried.
I think its normal. I worry everyday that something could go wrong, so its really just natural that he would too. Take it one day at a time. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!
