Re: Spinoff: When did you...

I'm 11 weeks, the only major change has been my boobs, I have gone up a bra size but my clothes are still OK. There are some pants that I am anxious to take off by the end of the day though Chat Icon

I did just buy some maternity clothes (because they were on sale!) but I don't need them just yet, probably in the next few weeks.

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

starting wearing maternity pants early... around 8 weeks i think because the bloat was so bad.

Didn't wear maternity tops until much later... 6 or 7 months i think.

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

At 15/16 weeks I started wearing a Bella Band with my regular pants.

I went maternity shopping at 21 weeks and started wearing only maternity clothes around 23 weeks.

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

I'll be 13 weeks on Monday and think I officially need to make the switch. I am usually pretty small and between all the bloat and my mini belly, my normal pants are just not comfy anymore....

I could squeeze if I wanted to, but who wants to be so uncomfortable.

As for the Bella Band...am I the ONLY one who doesn't think it's so great...I mean, it's "ok"....but nothing spectacular!

As for shirts/tops...I'm still in my own and probably can stay that way for a while...

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

nope, you're not the only one who gave the bella band a thumbs down... I did too Chat Icon

I could still fit in my pants at 10-11 weeks but there was a bit of pressure around the waistline that was VERY uncomfyChat Icon I found myself unbottoning them in the car, at my desk... I didn't like the new 'logistics' of my clothes.

I bought a pair of 'test preggo pants' and OMG, these things are AWESOME Chat Icon all pants should be this comfy. I only rotated a pile of jeans and cords early on (march), and waited for the real wardrobe purchases until the spring clothes came out.

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

I stared pretty early too probably around 7 or 8 weeks. They are so comfortable and I'm really glad I didn't torture myself!

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

I have a little bump and have to wear the bella band with almost everything now. I am going to need to buy new clothes very soon. I am about 9 weeks.

Re: Spinoff: When did you...

I'm just about 15 weeks and today is my 1st day wearing the bella band. I haven't had any issues with shirts yet since a lot of the styles are loose for spring/summer, but as far as work pants they were definitely getting uncomfy a couple weeks ago and all I would want to do was unbutton them when I was sitting. I can see why the bella band can get annoying, it seems to move around a lot but so far so good, it's definitely more comfy then wearing pants buttoned!
